Certified Trainer / Coach for Intercultural Competence

After residing in Germany and traveling around Europe for many years, quite a bit has been added to my life's resume. Whether it was in my trainings, during daily activities, or in my intercultural marriage and family, I've had to learn how to successfully deal with cultural differences.

Achieving clear communication between people has always been my goal, but simply knowing a country's do's and don'ts and the ability to speak the local language helped to an extent. In order for me to achieve true intercultural competence, it was necessary to first find out how to gain respect in the other culture(s). I learned to look behind the scenes in order to understand people's behavior.

Using this knowledge when building relationships has played an important role in the success and happiness of my life here on a continent which has become my second home.

Born and raised in the US, I studied Business Administration at Bryant University in Rhode Island (degree: Bachelor of Science, cum laude) and subsequently worked for more than 6 years in Marketing and Sales.

In 1993 I moved across the Atlantic with my German husband, settled in his home town and began a new chapter by becoming certified as Trainer / Coach for Intercultural Communication and Competence in English.  For over 30 years I have been supporting managers and employees working in global companies with sustainable and practical strategies, which are especially tailored to their specific needs.

I am delighted to offer my seminars both online and/or in person.

My tip for success for global teams is a combination of both face-to-face and virtual sessions, which particularly strengthens cohesion, cooperation and also international success.

Let's talk about how we can help you reach your global objectives.
